Construction is well under way on JCB Aero's new aircraft interior completion and refurbishment center scheduled to open this fall near l'Isle Jourdain in southwest France.

The initial step is a 53,800-sq-ft hangar. A second hangar of the same size will allow the center to build its own cabin components, from cabinetry to upholstery, as well as expand its role as an aircraft interior components vendor.

The expansion represents a $3.91 million investment and includes new headquarters facilities. In three years, the company has gone from 20 to 150 employees and expects that number to reach 400 in the next two years.
