Air Works India Engineering and Aircraft Paint and Refinishing UK have opened a line maintenance facility at Trichy International Airport in Tiruchirapalli, India. Air Works vice president K. V. Krishnan told AIN, “The presence at Trichy was driven by our customer Tiger Airways’ requirements. We have technicians and engineers for the A320 series and the station has all the tools and equipment to handle a daily check, including wheel and brake change tooling.”

Air Works will provide line maintenance for the Airbus A320 at Trichy using its EASA-, DGCA- and GCAA-approved base maintenance facility at Hosur, near Bangalore, to provide checks up to C3 for Airbus A320, ATR 42/72 and Boeing 737/NGs. It also offers AOG support. Air Works is an authorized service center for Rockwell Collins, Gulfstream, Bombardier, Honeywell, AgustaWestland, Bell Helicopter and Superjet International.
