PRELIMINARY REPORT: KING AIR LOSES DOOR IN FLIGHT

Hawker Beechcraft King Air 300, Minneapolis, Dec. 10, 2010–After takeoff from Minneapolis-St. Paul International/Wold Chamberlain Airport (MSP), the King Air was substantially damaged when its door separated. The Part 91 flight returned to MSP and landed safely with no injury to the ATP-rated pilot or passenger.
