Charter Revenue Soars at JetFlite

JetFlite International of Long Beach, Calif., saw its charter revenue surge by 37 percent last year and is projecting more than 30-percent growth this year. International flights account for nearly 55 percent of the company's total aircraft charter business, said JFI president Albert Pod. JetFlite also has an operating base at Republic Airport in Farmingdale, N.Y. "By having bases in both markets, we're well positioned to take advantage of what we see as a renewed upswing in charter business," Pod said.
