Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC), a specialist in the ACJ series of business and private jet “nose-to-tail” cabin completion services, claims to be the first in that market to offer full high-definition cabin entertainment through HDMI (high-definition multimedia interface).

“Our competitors offer HD systems, but as far as I know, ACJC is the only one to offer a real, full-HD system based on an HDMI wiring network with 1080p image broadcast [resolution],” said ACJC CEO Benoit Defforge.

The HDMI package will offer customers full HD quality on up to four monitors in each private area simultaneously, either through a local HD source (Blu-ray) or from an external device (video game console or laptop) with an HDMI plug.

HDMI standard also allows distribution of video signals from four internal or external sources to four outputs with no degradation.
