BAE Systems and design consultancy Design Q have unveiled their latest interior concept for the Avro Business Jet, the ABJ Elegante.

Designed with “space and grandeur,” the Elegante is the fourth of five interiors commissioned by BAE from Worcestershire-based Design Q for different executive aircraft market segments.

According to BAE, there are 24 ABJs in service in executive configurations of the BAe 146 and Avro RJ regional jets. The Hampshire, UK-based aerospace conglomerate claims it can deliver an Elegante ABJ for $12 million to $15 million.

The Elegante cabin features a forward galley segregated from the main cabin sections. The forward passenger section contains two divans, an offset dining table and 46-inch monitor. The aft section accommodates an additional lounge and office that can be quickly converted into a private stateroom. The aft lavatory stretches the width of the airplane and includes a full-height wardrobe.
