Florida Airport Set for Runway Extension

Florida’s Sebring Regional Airport (SRA) has been given the go-ahead from the state legislature to proceed with a 1,476-foot extension to primary Runway 18/36 with the approval of a 90-acre land acquisition. The extension will increase the runway’s length to 6,710 feet. The design and approval process is expected to begin in September.
