Brazil’s Petrobras Plans FBO Increase

BR Aviation, Brazilian fuel provider Petrobras’s aviation fuels division, plans to increase its FBOs at Brazilian airports from the current 10 BR Aviation Centers to 22 by 2015. The company sells more than 60 percent of the country’s aviation fuel through sales stations at more than 100 airports, and plans to spend $275 million by 2015 to expand sales points and FBOs. It expects business aviation in Brazil to grow 10 percent annually.

Currently, BR Aviation Centers are installed at Congonhas, Guarulhos and Sorocaba in São Paulo; Jacarepaguá in Rio de Janeiro; Brasília; Bacacheri near Curitiba; and Uberlândia (MG), Porto Seguro (BA), Bonito (MS) and Cuiabá (MT).
