Florida’s Sebring Regional Airport has received a $4.2 million FAA grant to rebuild its main runway, 18/36. The total replacement project, which will clear the 5,224-foot runway down to substrate, is expected to begin before the end of the year and last for the next 12 to 18 months. During that period, 4,351-foot Runway 14/32, which is unlit, will be the active runway at the airport, restricting operations to daylight hours.
