Technician Training Starts in China

The Civil Aviation Flight University of China (CAFUC) has begun ab initio helicopter technician training. With 15 students in Guanghan, Sichuan province, the class is the “start of a long-term plan devised by Eurocopter and CAFUC to develop a pool of qualified technicians.” The two expect an annual flow of 120 trainees by 2015. Eurocopter provides training to CAFUC instructors both in China and at its academy in Germany.
