Dallas-based Associated Air Center has launched a full-scale Boeing Business Jet mockup center and says it has exceeded expectations in streamlining the completion turnaround time.

The center allows interior technicians to fit-check cabin furnishings, bulkheads, monuments, headliners, valences and more before the aircraft arrives, allowing technicians to get a jump on fit and trim.

According to a spokesman, by reducing traffic inside the cabin, the company has improved work-flow efficiency and turn-around time “significantly” and reduced the possibility of injury to employees and collateral damage to the new airplane.
