Aviation service chain Ross Aviation has purchased and combined Spokane International Airport service provider XN Air and the general aviation handling component of Spokane Airways into one FBO, making it the 15th location in the Denver-based company’s portfolio. In accordance with Ross Aviation policy, the combined facility will operate under the XN Air name as Spokane Airways will continue to exist as a flight school and maintenance provider. The Avfuel-branded location, promoted as a tech stop for Great Circle Route traffic between Europe and Southern California, features NATA Safety First certified line staff, a private passenger lounge, pilot lounge with showers, flight briefing area, laundry facilities, coffee bar, conference room, on-site bistro, free Wi-Fi, convenience store and pilot shop, as well as airside car rentals. The hangar space of the two formerly separate locations gives it 50,000 sq ft of indoor aircraft storage.
