ConnectJets managing director Gabriella Somerville says that it is the absence of hidden charges and the chance to earn rewards for loyalty that set her new Jet Card Europe apart from other block charter programs.

UK-based ConnectJets has launched Jet Card Europe as an occupied-hours, all-inclusive block charter program that incorporates a loyalty plan through which members can earn free flight hours and other benefits. Clients can join by signing up for 25 hours or more per year and earn one free flight hour for every 50 hours flown.

Flight hour rates start at €4,550 (approximately $5,597) for a very light jet, rising to €5,650 ($6,950) for a light jet and €7,500 ($9,225) for a medium-sized jet. The VLJ category includes types such as the Embraer Phenom 100 and Cessna’s Citation Mustang and CJ1. The light category includes the Hawker Beechcraft 400XP and Premier, the Phenom 300, the Citations Bravo, CJ2 and CJ3, and the Bombardier Learjet 40.

ConnectJets has negotiated all-inclusive rates with a selection of undisclosed charter operators. Aircraft availability is guaranteed with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Jet Card Europe has no monthly management fees, no peak-day restrictions, no positioning costs and no fuel or airport surcharges. A 20-percent discount is available for same-day round-trip flights.

In addition to being able to earn free flight hours, customers can also take advantage of special rates, upgrades and extra services with a network of hotels, restaurants and high-end retailers. The service provides clients with a dedicated account manager and they also stand to receive invitations to prominent sporting events in Europe.
