Shelly Hedrick had been in aviation–fractionals, charters, FBOs–for 12 years when it occurred to her recently that there was a niche in the business aviation market that she could fill.

Last month she announced the launch of JetSeat, a company providing customized overhead layouts of business and private jet interiors, for existing or proposed cabins.

The JetSeat overheads are not only to scale, but the various fabrics, designs, shapes and colors are replicated accurately, said Hedrick.

“Clients provide us with digital photographs or direct us to their website,” she explained. “Then our graphic designers create a customized business jet configuration, camera-ready in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Reader, and send the finished image to the client via e-mail for use in marketing brochures, direct-mail campaigns, presentations and websites.”

Hedrick said she expects the bulk of her clients will be aircraft brokers, but other segments of business aviation–“completion and refurbishment centers, aircraft owners and operators”–might also find JetSeat overhead views of value.

JetSeat is located in Addison, Texas. For more information e-mail
