International aviation services provider Gama Group has announced a major development project at the UK’s Glasgow Airport. The company will add a new executive FBO complete with a 17,000-sq-ft hangar, capable of sheltering 600-series Challengers as well as serving as a line maintenance base, complementing the company’s engineering facilities in the London area. The development of the new terminal will provide a new tech stop for aircraft transiting between North America and the Middle East in particular, linking the provider’s facility at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey with its new FBO in Sharjah, UAE. “The opening of the Gama Glasgow hangar offices, maintenance facility and executive terminal further underlines our long-term commitment to Scotland and investment in the world-class infrastructure needed to offer our full range of aviation services at the highest level to our client base,” said Tom Wells, Gama’s general manager.
