FlightSafety International has signed a new eight-year training services agreement with Republic Airways, the companies announced last month.

Under the deal, FlightSafety has agreed to provide Republic with pilot and maintenance training services for the Embraer E170, Embraer E190, Embraer ERJ-145 and Bombardier Q400 in St. Louis, Houston, Seattle and Toronto; it will also add simulators in Cincinnati, Ohio. A new E170 simulator in Cincinnati recently received level-D qualification from the FAA. The ERJ-145 and Q400 simulators also carry level-D qualification. FlightSafety plans to relocate an existing ERJ-145 simulator to Cincinnati later this year.
