Quintessentially Aviation Handling has opened a new executive passenger and crew terminal facility at Ireland’s Shannon International Airport. The 1,750-sq-ft terminal includes an executive passenger lounge, as well as an airside crew rest lounge complete with shower facilities, satellite TV, Netflix, Wi-Fi, complimentary catering and modern Swiss furnishings. The terminal is also equipped with its own air bridge.

Quintessentially Aviation Handling recently joined World Fuel Services’ Air Elite Network of FBOs, and the company suggests that this location could be but the first in a branded chain of QA FBOs that can provide customers with the range of services before, during and after flights provided from 60 international Quintessentially concierge offices. “Obviously we have to prove that we can provide this service,” Brendan McQuaid, the company’s managing director, told AIN, “but our strategy is to explore the options for a fully independent network of FBOs at strategic points around the globe.”
