Signature Expands Its Network Options
Sonoma Jet Center at California’s Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport is the latest facility to go live as a member of Signature Flight Support’s Signature Select affiliate program, which allows FBOs to retain their independent brand while receiving support from Signature’s sales and marketing programs. Located in the heart of California’s wine country, the FBO features a well appointed passenger terminal and a newly built 22,000-sq-ft hangar capable of sheltering aircraft the size of a G650. “We are pleased with the transition to become a Signature Select affiliate,” noted FBO co-owner Josh Hochberg, adding that the partnership has already attracted new customers to his facility.
At the NBAA Regional Forum in June at Van Nuys Airport, Signature announced that fellow California-based FBO Sun Air Jets has also signed on to carry the Signature Select badge. The location at Camarillo Airport occupies has 131,000 sq ft of facilities on 12 acres, including a 20,000-sq-ft terminal 125,000 sq ft of hangar space and a 60,000-gallon jet fuel storage farm. “Sun Air is a superb addition to the Signature Select program and joins our nine Signature facilities in California, including Sonoma Jet Center,” said company president and COO Maria Sastre.
North of the border, Signature has signed an agreement with InterDel Aviation Services, which will see the rebranding of the former Avitat FBO at Vancouver International Airport as a licensed Signature location. The facility has 60,000 sq ft of hangars and a terminal with 15,000 sq ft of office space. Through a partnership with London Aviation Services, another 60,000 sq ft hangar capable of sheltering four 737s is also available. “We see Canada as a burgeoning market for business and general aviation, and Signature Vancouver as one of Canada’s most important destinations for our global customers,” noted Sastre. The North Pacific FBO joins locations at Edmonton International Airport and Montreal Pierre-Elliot Trudeau International Airport as the third licensed Canadian facility in the service provider’s network, which now numbers more than 115 locations worldwide.
