Embraer (Booth No. 1420) has sold another two super-midsize Legacy 600 business jets in the Middle East, bringing the fleet to seven in the region. The first has been purchased in Beirut, Lebanon, by Adnan Kassar. He is the chairman and CEO of Fransabank SAL and chairman of the General Union of Arab Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture. Delivery is pegged for the third quarter.
Celtel International, a subsidiary of Kuwait-based phone company MTC, bought the second Legacy 600. Delivery should take place in the fourth quarter. A total of 71 Legacy 600s currently operate around the world.
