Strong revenue growth has led Delta AirElite, the business aircraft charter division of Delta Air Lines, to introduce a revenue guarantee for aircraft owners who are accepted for enrollment in the company’s aircraft-management program. The company is offering new management clients flight hour guarantees ranging from 200 to 500 hours annually for select aircraft. "Revenue guarantees will vary based on aircraft type, availability for charter flying and geographic base location," said a spokesperson. "Several of our aircraft management clients generated more than $1 million dollars in charter revenue in 2004 that helped offset their aircraft ownership costs," said Delta Air Elite president and CEO Michael Green. "As of June, three clients have already achieved this level." According to the spokesperson, revenue flight hours last year were up 53 percent from 2003 and revenue flight hours through the first six months of the year increased 30 percent compared with the same period last year. The company attributes the growth to several factors, including an improving economy, more companies and individuals choosing Delta AirElite charter and membership programs and the “benefits enjoyed by Delta AirElite customers when traveling on Delta Air Lines."
