Pilatus won the newer-turboprop group by the slimmest of margins, while the venerable King Air fleet took first place among older turboprops. Finally, Bell retained the lead in the rotorcraft support. More than 1,600 readers judged the OEMs on everything from aircraft reliability to technical manuals, and there were a number of surprises this year. As was the case last year, Newtown, Conn.-based Forecast International administered the survey on AIN’s behalf.
