SimCom Training Centers, which operates training facilities in Orlando and Vero Beach, Fla., and Glendale and Scottsdale, Ariz., announced additions to its simulator fleet and a recently leased facility. The facility is the former 40,000-sq-ft Lockheed Martin Training Center in Orlando, and it houses three simulators: a new Beechjet 400A level C,  a Dornier 328 Jet level D and a Jetstream 41 level C.

The 328 and Jetstream simulators, along with a JAR-STD 1A-approved Jetstream 41 simulator in the UK, adds regional airline training to SimCom’s portfolio of services, previously limited to business jet and general aviation training.

In addition, SimCom announced here at NBAA the addition of a new Citation simulator, which SimCom manufactured, at its Orlando facility. The simulator provides training for the CJ, CJ1 and CJ2. As an introductory offer, “Customers who train on our CJ from now until December 31 this year are eligible for a 20-percent discount,” said Tracy Brannon, managing director, SimCom. Pilots will also be eligible for the company’s frequent trainer discount on their next training event.
