Cabin electronics specialist NAT Seattle (Booth No. 1846) announced the availability of software that it claims can allow the company’s JetLAN airborne computer server to host live TV sent through an airplane’s satellite Internet connection. No information was available on what the service costs, but the IPTV offering is available through service provider Satcom1 using existing satcom hardware and antennas. JetLAN can also be used for e-mail access, fax/printer support and video teleconferencing, the company said.
