Yankee Pacific Aerospace has merged two of its holdings–Executive Aircraft Completions (EAC) and Cabin Innovations–into a single division called Cabin Innovations. The new company’s design, engineering and certification office will remain in Tulsa, Okla., with a production and engineering office based at Cabin Innovations’ new 39,630-sq-ft facility in Lewisville, Texas. Cabin Innovations specializes in design, engineering, certification and production of large business jet interior components and systems, including galleys and cabinetry for Bombardier Challenger and Global Express jets, VIP Airbuses from the A318 through A340 and Boeings from the 727 through 777. Yankee Pacific Aerospace acquired Cabin Innovations in December 2007 from founders Danny Wintz and Hue Tran. After the recent merger, Wintz became vice president and general manager of the new Cabin Innovations, while Rick Richardson, who was president of EAC and CEO of Cabin Innovations, became president and will remain based in Tulsa.
