Dassault Falcon has launched its new “E-forum” series of Internet-based communication seminars. The first of the hour-long sessions attracted 32 Falcon 7X users from the U.S., UK, France, Mexico, Brazil and Switzerland in an online interchange of maintenance information and best operating practices. “Falcon’s E-Forum program is a cost-effective tool that’s flexible and interactive and improves our responsiveness to customer feedback and information-sharing techniques,” said Frank Youngkin, Dassault’s vice president of customer service in the Western hemisphere. The seminars, which focus on a specific topic or model series, can be accessed using an Internet-connected computer, Microsoft’s Live Meeting application and a telephone. Seminar participants can then listen to the presenter while simultaneously viewing subject material. They can also submit questions to the experts from the Dassault Falcon team. Invitations to future forums, which will be held every one to two months, will be sent to various operators depending on applicability of subject matter.
