Action Aviation, which markets the former Sino Swearingen SJ30 and Bombardier CRJ200 business jets, has signed an agreement with 328 Support Services of Germany to distribute the Dornier 328Jet. The two companies are jointly exhibiting here on the EBACE static display.

The program offers the Dornier 328Jet converted from a typical 32-seat passenger configuration to a 10- to 12-seat VIP layout, with a standup cabin and custom interior. The aircraft is usually offered with the option of long-range tanks providing a range of up to 2,000 nm.

Action Aviation’s new distribution territory covers the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent from offices in Dubai and India. 328 Support Services carries out customization and maintenance work from its facilities near Munich, Germany.

“The 328Jet is unique in its class, offering a modern, spacious standup cabin for up to 12 passengers in VIP configuration or 19 in corporate shuttle configuration, with a bespoke interior tailored to each customer’s individual needs,” said Dave Jackson, CEO of 328 Support Services. “This aircraft offers a well-proven and value-for-money proposition for VIP customers and charter operators.” The delivered price is approximately $10 million with a customer-specified interior.

“With its range of up to 2,000 nm, this aircraft will easily fly from Dubai to London with one fuel stop, and anywhere to anywhere in the Middle East or anywhere to anywhere within India,” said Action Aviation chairman Hamish Harding. “This aircraft will be a valuable addition to Action Aviation’s existing offerings.”

In addition to handling sales and marketing of the CRJ200 VIP aircraft, Action Aviation is the sole distributor for what is now the Emivest Aerospace SJ30 in 66 countries and the company still has an order for 159 SJ30s.

Germany-based 328 Support Services is the type certificate holder for the Dornier 328Jet and 328 turboprop and is providing worldwide support for a fleet of more than 200 aircraft.
