Bombardier Aerospace has enhanced its Middle East presence with the expansion of its mobile response team (MRT) into the region. The MRT is composed of six EASA-licensed technical experts operating under Bombardier maintenance approval. The team can now respond to AOGs across the Middle East and has already supported customers in Qatar and Jordan, according to a Bombardier spokesman. The MRT has also added the Learjet 60 to its existing line maintenance support capability for Globals and Challengers. Capability for other Learjets is expected to follow next year. “Since the MRT’s initial launch last May, we have seen positive interest from customers, which has led us to expand our capabilities,” said Andy Nureddin, Bombardier Business Aircraft vice president for customer services and support. “Extending our services in the Middle East will further enhance our response rate and minimize downtime for our growing international customer base.” The MRT expansion into the Middle East is intended to complement Bombardier’s established service network in the region, including a factory parts depot and an authorized service facility operated by ExecuJet.
