PlaneDeck Retrofit STC’d for Older Gulfstream Jets
Gulfstream Aerospace’s PlaneDeck retrofit for the GIV, GIV-SP, GV, G300 and G400 was recently approved by the FAA and EASA. It replaces six cathode-ray tube displays with liquid crystal displays and adds capabilities such as XM graphical weather and electronic charts. Critically, the retrofit offers a path to bring these airframes up to date with capabilities such as Waas LPV approaches, required navigation performance, ADS-B IN and FANS 1/A datalink.
