Nextant Aerospace announced yesterday that Singapore-based air charter firm Asia Pacific Jets placed an order for 10 Nextant 400XTs, the remanufactured Beechjet 400A/400XP with new Williams FJ44-3AP engines, Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics and other upgrades. At list prices, the order is worth more than $40 million. All 10 aircraft will be delivered to Asia Pacific Jets over the next three years, with some outfitted as air ambulances and the rest as traditional business jets.
Asia Pacific Jets, which will also serve as a sales agent in Asia for the 400XT, recently announced a new partnership with Hong Kong-based AirMed Asia, a subsidiary of AirMed International. Thus, the first two aeromed-outfitted 400XTs will be delivered by year-end to coincide with the opening of a new Singapore base that Asia Pacific Jets and AirMed Asia are launching later this year through the partnership. AirMed Asia will also coordinate maintenance and warranty support for Nextant Aerospace in the region.
“We are proud that Asia Pacific Jets has selected the Nextant 400XT, and to see the aircraft begin service on the Asian continent,” said Nextant CEO Kenn Ricci. He noted that there are now fifteen 400XTs in operation worldwide.
