As of November 6, AeroBridge had coordinated more than 50 business aircraft flights to deliver more than 40,000 pounds of relief supplies to areas of New York and New Jersey affected by Hurricane Sandy. The group has also been involved in more than 18 additional flights to five collection sites.

AeroBridge is operating relief missions into three N.Y./N.J.-area airports–Republic Airport in Farmingdale, N.Y.; Robert J. Miller Air Park in Toms River, N.J.; and Eagles Nest Airport in West Creek, N.J.–where it has ground recipients in place to accept and distribute the needed donations.

AeroBridge continues to seek donations and is still coordinating relief flights to the area.
