Bombardier Learjet’s unionized employees in Wichita, members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAMAW), are back on the job after a five-week strike. Over the weekend, the Learjet production line workers voted to accept a proposed contract agreement, ending a strike that began on October 8. “We are satisfied with the outcome of the vote and are confident in moving forward and continuing to work with all of our employees,” said Bombardier Learjet vice president and general manager Ralph Acs. “The agreement reflects our mutual commitment to the long-term success of our site.”
