Bombardier Boosts EMEA Parts Support

Bombardier Aerospace’s Dubai parts depot has moved to a new facility to enhance its aftermarket support for operators flying to Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). It allows greater inventory capacity and, as part of a continuing priority to improve competitiveness, Bombardier says it has reduced prices on many rotable exchanges and a large number of proprietary and non-proprietary new parts. Bombardier also offers price matching on rotable and consumable parts and will extend the warranty period from one to two years on all spare parts purchased for business aircraft as of January 1.

Diane De Souza, vice president for parts services, told AIN, “The pricing changes are part of ongoing efforts across all our platforms and have affected more than 2,000 parts and 750 rotable, proprietary and non-proprietary spare parts.”

“Price matching is simple. If an operator provides a documented quote for an equivalent, in-stock part that is also available in our catalogue, we match the price. All components are eligible with the exception of hardware, raw material, life-limited components, alternate part numbers and PMA part numbers.”
