Standalone Beechcraft Emerges To Face the Future
With its official emergence from bankruptcy today, the new Beechcraft Corp. returns to the roots planted by founders Walter and Olive Ann Beech in 1932. Along with dropping "Hawker" from its name, it also shut down all of its jet lines, leaving Beechcraft with a portfolio that includes King Air turboprop twins; T-6 military trainer and AT-6 light attack derivative; and Bonanza and Baron pistons.
