ExecuJet Europe is relocating most of its accounting and information technology departments from the group’s Zurich, Switzerland headquarters to its new global operations center at Cambridge Airport in the UK. Last year, the business aviation services group transferred its aircraft operations department to Cambridge.
The latest move of ExecuJet personnel to the UK coincides with the appointment of Gerrit Basson as managing director of ExecuJet Europe. He is replacing Cedric Migeon, who is staying in Switzerland to start his own aviation consultancy business.
ExecuJet is also adding several aircraft to its European managed fleet. These include a Boeing Business Jet based in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, a Gulfstream G550 based at London Luton Airport and a Dassault Falcon 7X based in Moscow. Several other aircraft are due to join the fleet soon, including several Gulfstream G550s and G650s, in addition to another Falcon 7X and a Bombardier Global Express.
Meanwhile, ExecuJet Australasia has added a Sydney-based Challenger 604 to its fleet, as well as a GIV-SP based in Malaysia. The company has also just opened a new maintenance base at Perth International Airport.
