Sikorsky's S-76D is continuing its envelope expansion and is approaching the first customer delivery. As part of the envelope expansion, the medium-twin helicopter's maximum cruising altitude is being nudged 5,000 feet higher to 15,000 feet. Meanwhile, a total of 10 S-76Ds are expected to be in completions by next week.
