Gulfstream Aerospace has opened a sales and design center in Dallas. The 9,300-sq-ft facility allows customers to see and evaluate potential paint schemes, cabin layouts and interior cabin selections. At the heart of the offerings is a software design program.
“Our interior designers and completions sales executives have access to a mobile, visualization application called DesignBook, which displays a realistic cabin image on a touch-screen tablet. The rendering includes cabin configurations, colors and fabrics. The rendering can also be projected on the wall at the sales and design center,” Tray Crow, Gulfstream’s director of interior design, told AIN.
In addition to the high-tech planning application, the center also has samples of fabric to feel, wood to see, china to touch and carpet to evaluate. Use of the computerized design-planning program is free.
The sales and design center is located in a new facility as part of the existing 420,000-sq-ft Gulfstream Dallas complex. The campus, which includes a Gulfstream mid-cabin completions center focusing on the G280 and G150, also has a service center for all Gulfstream models.
DesignBook is also available at Gulfstream’s Savannah sales and design center.
