Jet Aviation Singapore is constructing a new hangar at Seletar Aerospace Park slated to be completed in early February next year. The new 100,900-sq-ft structure will triple the size of the current facility, and it will have two floors providing 43,700 sq ft of space for shops and offices. The new facility will also add 100,965 sq ft of apron area.

The new construction, which is alongside Jet Aviation Singapore’s current maintenance and FBO operation, will be unveiled at an opening celebration at the Singapore Airshow in February.

Aircraft Support Industries (ASI) began construction last May, and the two-story annex shell structure and all temporary structures have already been erected. Ramp expansion is also well under way.

“We are expanding our facilities in direct response to growing demand in the region for large, long-range business jets,” said Gary Dolski, vice president and general manager. “The new hangar will accommodate up to five Gulfstream G650s or five Bombardier Global Express 7000s.” The company is also a Boeing BBJ line maintenance station with maintenance approvals from 12 airworthiness authorities. It offers FBO services in Singapore at Seletar and Changi International airports and operates an MRO facility in Hong Kong.
