Private jet charter broker Sentient Jet said today that its travel bookings for the November and December holiday season have increased more than 70 percent over last year’s holiday season, “reflecting the continued resurgence” in private aviation. Popular travel destinations emerging so far during this holiday season include Palm Beach, Fla.; Aspen, Colo.; and New York City.
“As reported after Sentient’s strong summer of sales, we expected a significant holiday flying season, and that’s exactly what we’re seeing,” said Sentient Jet president Andrew Collins. “Following our biggest flying summer in five years, we’ve already booked travel during this winter’s holiday season that surpasses 2012 levels.”
Besides the increase in booked trips, Sentient Jet is also seeing an uptick in sales this holiday season, including “brisk” sales of its promotional 20-hour holiday jet card, which will be available only through year-end. It comes with the same features and benefits of Sentient’s 25-hour jet card, including access to light through large-cabin jets and a one-year lock on hourly rates and fuel surcharges.
