Embraer has selected long-time Rolls-Royce executive Stephen Friedrich to serve as chief commercial officer for the company’s executive aviation business unit. In that role, Friedrich will steer the global sales organization for both new and pre-owned aircraft, as well as oversee customer and other industry relationships. He reports to Embraer Executive Jets president and CEO Michael Amalfitano.

Noting Friedrich’s wealth of experience in sales, marketing, finance, customer support and services and aftermarket programs over the past 30 years, Amalfitano said, “With our strategic shift to focus on value, his dynamic leadership will strengthen our global sales team and challenge us to create more comprehensive solutions for our customers.”

Friedrich held senior roles in banking and finance before joining Rolls-Royce in 2001. He most recently was vice president for sales and marketing at Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace, leading sales and marking for business aviation, forecasting and pricing of services.
