Dassault Systèmes, a 3-D design software, digital mock-up and product lifecycle management company, is displaying aerospace innovation solutions at the GIFAS (French aerospace industries) stands at the Dubai Airshow (Stands 640, 1445).

Dassault Systèmes specializes in collaborative 3-D simulations used for complex aerospace (and other industry) designs and for sharing business information. The specific 3-D business and process simulation solution is called 3DExperience, and customers that use the Dassault Systèmes applications include AgustaWestland, Airbus, Astrium, Boeing, Dassault Aviation, Embraer and Rolls-Royce.

“Most objects used throughout the world from a shampoo bottle to an airplane are designed, and their programs managed, with our applications,” said Olivier Leteurtre, Dassault Systèmes managing director Western Europe. “In this region, we also partner with cities to sustainably develop and improve people’s lives and the services that support them.”

As more Middle East companies develop advanced manufacturing capabilities, Dassault Systèmes stands ready to help with 3DExperience. “The Middle East is challenged to develop its aerospace industry capability, IP creation program and MRO expertise through technology transfer,” said Leteurtre. “We partner in government-backed joint ventures with innovative regional aerospace manufacture and aircraft operators collaboratively developing solutions to meet that challenge.”
