Palm Aviation Expands into CIS
Palm Aviation, the Dubai-based flight support provider, has announced the opening of an office in Uzbekistan in the Commonwealth of Independent States. This follows the opening of an office in Miami, Florida, in January 2009. It plans to set up additional offices in Africa and the Middle East before year end.
The company provides weather reports and organizes refueling, ground handling, overflight and landing permits and other services. It predicts that the economy will remain strong in the Middle East and hopes to participate in its growth while expanding into other markets. (See page 30.) It has set itself the ambitious goal of achieving a 35-percent annual revenue increase over the next five years. A senior team led by Mohammad Saideh, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, is here at the EBACE show (Booth No. 1069).
