Rockwell Collins Lands Airline Customers

Two Mediterranean airlines have selected cockpit and cabin avionics from Rockwell Collins, the avionics maker announced Monday. Aegean Airlines of Greece and Buraq Air, a private airline based in Libya, are opting for Rockwell Collins’ WXR-2100 MultiScan weather radar, VHF-2100 radios, GLU-925 multi-mode receiver, Paves audio/video entertainment system, Airshow 4200 moving map display and other components. Aegean Airlines will install the equipment aboard three leased Airbus A320s. Buraq Air has ordered the gear for two new Boeing 737s.
