Dassault Falcon beefs up global support network
Dassault Falcon has appointed two new authorized service centers in South Africa and reached agreement with a third company to provide service center support in Turkey.
Bhakari Aviation and Execujet South Africa, both located at Lanseria International Airport in South Africa, will provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance support, transient service, troubleshooting, AOG support and basic inspections.
Palmari, at Istanbul’s Atatürk International Airport in Turkey, will provide service center support, including AOG assistance as well as scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and warranty repair work for Falcon aircraft. It is currently undergoing a European Aviation Safety Agency audit, after which it will gain full authorization to work on the Falcon 50, 2000 and 900 family of aircraft later this year. In the meantime, Dassault Falcon Service at Paris Le Bourget has dispatched a company representative to assist with all Falcon-related work.
To support a growing Falcon fleet in India, Falcon customer service recently relocated Falcon’s field service contact for India to Mumbai. Aadil Goulamaly was previously based in St. Cloud, France, providing operation, administrative and technical support to Falcon customers throughout the Eastern Hemisphere. Before joining Dassault Aviation, Aadil spent four years with a French regional airline and two years on French firefighter aircraft as an avionics technician. He then received a master’s degree in aircraft maintenance.
Last month, Dassault Falcon also announced the opening of a spares distribution center in Mumbai. Valued at nearly $1.5 million, the inventory brings to $8 million the total value of the company’s Falcon spares in the area, most of the money residing at the Shanghai distribution center.
