The company reached the milestone delivered its first helicopter, the R22, in 1979.
Torrance, California-based Robinson Helicopter rolled out its 12,000th helicopter, a turbine-powered R66, in late December. The milestone helicopter will be delivered to South African dealer Hover Dynamics and eventually will fly charters and air tour flights at Fly Karoo Air Services in the Graff-Reinet area.
