Engine maker offers new tech

Lycoming Engines (Booth No. 1009) is at Heli-Expo 2006 highlighting certification and delivery of aircraft piston engines with roller tappet valve train technology, changes to the company’s exchange engine core policy and formation of a new Advanced Technology Center.

Textron Lycoming executives who are present to discuss these and other developments include Ian Walsh, general manager, Todd Stoner, v-p of sales and marketing, and Dennis Racine, director of marketing and customer leadership.

Lycoming, headquartered in Williamsport, Pa., manufactures piston engines that power more than half of the world’s general aviation fleet–both rotary and fixed wing.
