TAG Aviation’s new Dubai post allows more direct contact
TAG Aviation (Stand No. 452) has announced the opening of a Dubai office, allowing it to offer the group’s aircraft management and charter services direct to Middle East customers. The new operation will also promote TAG’s U.S. aircraft completions operation.
The Dubai office, which will be headed by director of business development Akbar Siddiqi, will also offer aircraft acquisition consulting and will give the Middle East market more direct access to the chartering potential of TAG’s managed fleet.
“Managing large cabin aircraft for our clients throughout the Middle East, whether they have a Falcon 900 or a Boeing Business Jet, continues to be a strong part of our business,” said TAG Aviation Holding president and CEO Robert Wells. “Establishing a local office allows us to better serve our existing clientele while providing growth to meet new demand in this fast-growing region.”
Completion consulting now is provided by TAG Aviation Services based in the U.S., and the newly established company is hoping to promote its capabilities to Middle East customers. It is currently managing the completions of several BBJ and Global Express aircraft at centers in North America.
“Completion management is a vital part of our business, particularly for our Middle East clientele and because of our predominantly regional focus on large aircraft,” said Wells. “Having completion work done in North America is extremely compelling due to favorable economics and outstanding service.”
