Honeywell M&Os focus on service and support
Honeywell will discuss the status of much of its product line, from engines and APUs to avionics, this afternoon and again tomorrow morning in a series of maintenance and operations sessions. A general session introducing the theme “Engage Honeywell for Service” will begin at 1 p.m. in Rooms B308/309 with details on a new “Intelligent Contact Routing” program and an expanded technical operations center emphasizing 24/7 support and easier access to Honeywell support resources.
The technical M&Os to follow will focus on solutions that are in progress and those that the company is currently deploying to address customer concerns and issues. An M&O session added this year will spotlight the content and features of upcoming Honeywell flight management system software releases. Following today’s general presentation there will be a session on the TFE731 turbofan family (2 p.m.) and a discussion of the HTF7000 line and APUs (3 p.m.). The afternoon will end with a session on cabin systems (4 p.m.).
Meanwhile, in Room B310 the avionics side of the house will cover Primus Epic system issues (2 p.m.). The Primus 1000/2000 avionics systems and FMS take center stage for half-hour presentations starting at 3 and 3:30 p.m. The final hour is devoted to the CFE738 engine.
Tomorrow will begin with another general session at 8 a.m. followed by discussion on the TPE331 turboprop line.
