CharterMatrix wants to sell empty-leg trips

Melbourne, Fla.-based CharterMatrix has targeted the empty-leg market with the launch of its updated Web site, which includes a map-search function, request board and interaction with the flight planning Web site

The color-coded map-search function of allows users to select a region and view all empty-leg charter flights available in the selected area.

Users can also post bids for flights and request specific empty-leg flight destinations using the request board. The map-search function and request board assist customers in finding a flight that is best suited to their needs, the company said.

The Web sites communicate in real-time, ensuring that the flight information is correct and up to date, the company said.
