New Orleans-based Aviation Personnel International Inc. (API) recently hired Sheryl Barden as vice president in charge of business development and recruiting at the company’s recently opened San Francisco office.

A personnel consulting firm that serves business aviation, API has helped aviation-related businesses with recruiting, staffing and organizational development needs for more than 30 years. Barden had previously served on the company’s board of directors for 17 years, leaving her position as manager of business development for Potlatch Corp. to open the West Coast API office.

“Sheryl’s business development and marketing experience, coupled with her knowledge of corporate aviation, will greatly help us in meeting our goals for growth and developing creative solutions to serve the industry,” said API president Janice Barden, her mother.
