Elcorta rebrands as MX Jet Service
A venerable aviation services company is unveiling a new name and introducing new partners here at the NBAA Convention. Elcorta, based at New Castle Airport in Wilmington, Del., established in 1982, is now MX Jet Service. The name change reflects the addition of new partners to the company, whose personnel roster now includes Gerard van Dyk, president; Andrew Arcuri, director of sales and operation; Robert Gaden, director of maintenance; and Corinne Sernyak, CFO. The company is showcasing its new identity and a new exhibit booth (No. 4012).
The privately owned company assists customers with maintaining their aircraft, engines and on-wing support with round- the-clock scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and mobile AOG services. An FAA-approved 145 repair facility, MX Jet Service specializes in Hawker, Citation, Challenger 601, Learjet, Falcon and Westwind series aircraft. It also provides avionics repairs and support for the TFE731 engine (among others)–the Westwind’s powerplant. General Dynamics, which supports the Westwind, has hailed the company for possessing “experience we trust,” according to a General Dynamics spokeswoman.
MX Jet Service also provides aircraft interior design, installation and modifications; battery sales and service; avionics, electronics and electronic systems installation and troubleshooting; and engine repair, overhaul and modification. The company’s motto, “Where your standard is perfection,” remains the guiding principle, according to van Dyk. “We pride ourselves on making sure our aircraft service will be done right the first time and on budget.”
The company is offering a 10- percent labor discount on new customer commitments made at the convention.
